Blog - A pint for Mike – A legacy of kindness and courage
Police Sergeant Mike Newbrook sadly passed away in 2024 from a rare and aggressive form of leukemia. Just over a year on, his wife Lorna, has shared this blog post with us to open up about their experience and to raise awareness of blood donation. She talks about Mike's journey, his dedication to his job and his family, and how much the blood donation programme helped him through his treatment.
