This independent review looks into how employers can better support the mental health of all people currently in employment.

The Stevenson / Farmer Review is an independent review into how employers can better support the mental health of all people currently in employment, including those with mental health problems or poor wellbeing to remain in and thrive in work.

Released in October 2017, it sets out a number of recommendations centred around incentivising employers to prioritise workplace mental health, changes in legislation and bodies working towards putting mental health on a par with physical health.

The review concludes that underneath the stigma that surrounds mental health and prevents open discussion on the subject, the UK faces a significant mental health challenge at work.
